How do you Measure Up?

We are currently in the midst of our Gingerbread unit.  Today we measured our gingerbread in non-standard units.  We measured with peppermints! Next, students measured their bodies against the gingerbread man.  Some students were shorter, some the same heights, and most students were taller than our gingerbread man.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We earned feathers for our Native American headpieces.  Students were encouraged to earn feathers by exhibiting good behavior.

 Philip and Ashley were named Chief and Indian Princess for our class.  They both earned 11 feathers!

We did not set sail on the Mayflower this year due to the rain.  However, we still managed to show our pilgrim spirit! Happy Thanksgiving!

November Work

 We created our monthly November quilt.  Each student patterned an AB pattern and then created a turkey with their hand print.  They also created a fall leaf out of tissue paper.

Veteren's Day Assembly

 We participated in the All-School Veteran's Day Assembly at the football field.  We paraded down waving our flags.
