What a spooky filled day. Our class participated in the Lower School parade and ended with a wonderful party! Happy Halloween!

Candy Corn Estimation
Our class recently discussed estimation. Students were introduced about making an educated guess. Each student made a prediction about how many candy corn were in Miss Cotton's candy jar. The final answer was............234! Summer was the closest estimator with a prediction of 200!

Golden Shelf Elf Winners!
Our class WON the Golden Shelf Elf Award in Library. This award is given to the class that exhibits outstanding listening skills and behavior.

A Spooooky Classroom!
Happy Halloween from Miss Cotton's Class!
Our class created a class quilt. Students created an AB pattern around the edges of their ghost piece during math. They also made a spooky ghost with their hand print! Happy Halloween!

Go Saints!
After the red steps, we headed to the Homecoming Pep Rally. We participated in the school wide pep rally to cheer on the saints! Gooooo Saints Goooo!

Red Steps!
Our class sang on the red steps for the first time this year. We sang with Ms. Kemp's Kindergarten Class this past Friday. They all did a great job and I am so proud of them!

Which apple was your favorite?
We taste tested four different types of apples. Students then voted for the apple they thought tasted the best. We had a clear winner!

Apple Smiles
On Friday, Mrs. Conrad conducted our second cooking class. Students made apple smiles. The red delicious apples were used as the "lips" and students used mini marshmallows for "teeth". At the end of the lesson, they had created a beautiful smile!
